The Texas Financial Group – Dallas Established in 1958 The Texas Financial Group – Dallas has a long history in Dallas. Austin Rinne established the North Texas General Agency in 1958 and by the time he retired in 1984 the agency had become the number one general agency in the country. Angell and Associates led by, Al Angell, continued the high level of service until his retirement in August, 2004, earning the top spot in field directing (1976) and as a district agency (1984). In 2004, when Tait Cruse was appointed Managing Partner, he formed The Texas Financial Group – Dallas, which assumed operations from the Angell Financial Group and merged with The Mahoney Group. The Texas Financial Group – Dallas is one of the largest Network Offices in the country serving the Greater Dallas area. In addition to the Network Office in North Dallas, The Texas Financial Group – Dallas is served by district offices in Park Cities, Las Colinas, Addison and Frisco. Tait Cruse, CLU, Managing Partner Tait Cruse, CLU, is the Managing Partner of The Texas Financial Group – Dallas, Tait Cruse is married and has three children. He has a strong background of excellence that has characterized his over 20-year association with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network. Tait began his career as a Northwestern Mutual representative in 1989 after graduating from the University of North Texas. He built a remarkably successful personal practice in Dallas, earning numerous industry and company awards along the way. Tait has consistently been a qualifying member of the prestigious Million-Dollar Round Table (1995 - 2004) and a National Sales Achievement Award recipient (1994 - 2004). Tait was also a member of Northwestern Mutual’s Top 20 in 2001. This is the highest honor given by the company for sales performance. He is a designated Charter Life Underwriter (CLU) and holds registrations as a Securities Representative and Supervisor. Tait entered management as a Field Director in 1999 and was promoted to assistant Managing Partner one year later. For the calendar year 2003 Tait was the number three field director in the country. For the award year 2004 he earned the second best designation for field directors in this country. In addition, his assistant Managing Partner duties provided valuable experience in agency building, recruiting, and new representative development. As Managing Partner, Tait is responsible for all Northwestern Mutual sales and service operations in northeastern Texas and in several counties in western Arkansas. He oversees more than 150 Financial Representatives and a large support staff from the organization’s headquarters in Dallas. Additional offices are located in Park Cities, Las Colinas, Addison and Frisco. This Network Office has been active since 1958.
