Community Involvement

TeamConnor

Employees of the Texas Financial Group – Dallas rallied together to collect toys on behalf of the TeamConnor Cancer Foundation. The toys were delivered to the Child Life department at Medical City Children’s Hospital on December 18, 2009. The donation made a big difference to the families in the hospital for the 2009 holiday season.  Parents were given the opportunity to pick out Christmas toys for all their children, free of charge.  The donation helped relieve some holiday stress and granted some financial relief to parents.

The mission of TeamConnor is: Through effective and efficient use of resources, TeamConnor will raise awareness, support families, fund treatments, and help find a cure for childhood cancer.

The III Forks Golf Classic and Auction raised more than $125,000 for TeamConnor.  The Texas Financial Group - Dallas was a sponsor of the auction held at the Plano restaurant and the golf tournament held at Gleneagles Country Club.
